What is Wood Badge?
Wood Badge is Scouting America’s advanced leadership course for adult volunteers. Participants train together in patrols, then work their “ticket,” a set of personal goals that strengthen their home unit. When the ticket is complete, they receive the Wood Badge beads, neckerchief, and woggle. Learn more about Wood Badge.
What are the Wood Badge critters?
Each course is divided into patrols named for critters: Beaver, Bobwhite, Eagle, Fox, Owl, Bear, Buffalo, and Antelope. Most Scouters stay proud of their critter for life, which is why critter gear makes such a good gift.
