Start With the Patch Set
The patch set drives the look. Your shirts, neckerchiefs, and gear follow the approved design.
Patches 6–8 Weeks Out
Patch design approvals take the most time. Start even earlier if Scouts will pre-order sets.
Sell With Registration
Build shirts and patch sets into contingent fees, then order to your roster.
Plan Trading Extras
Scouts trade patches. Ask how many extra sets they want before you order, and round up near a price break.
Council Pricing for Jamboree Contingents
Contingent orders placed through your council on an official council purchase order get council pricing, a discount off our standard pricing. Send a copy of the council purchase order with your first order. Troops in your contingent can also order on their own.
National Jamboree Contingent FAQ
What is a Jamboree patch set?
A contingent patch set is a group of patches designed to fit together, often a council shoulder patch (CSP) or Jamboree shoulder patch (JSP) plus matching pieces that form one larger design. Scouts wear, collect, and trade them. We design the whole set for free.
Do you sell official Jamboree souvenirs?
No. Official Jamboree merchandise and the Jamboree Trading Post are run by Scouting America. We make custom patch sets, shirts, and gear for councils and troops sending a contingent.
How far ahead should we order?
Start the patch set at least 6–8 weeks before you need it, because patch design approvals take the most time. Shirts are quicker and follow the approved patch design. If Scouts will pre-order sets or you want them for pre-Jamboree meetings, start earlier.
Is the design really free?
Yes. Councils get full art services at no charge. We’ll design your patch set and matching apparel, and you approve an online proof before anything is made.
How does council pricing work?
Orders placed through your council on an official council purchase order get council pricing. Send a copy of the PO with your first order so we can set up the account. More on council pricing.
What’s the minimum for patches?
50 patches per design. Each patch in a set is its own design, so plan quantities for each piece.
Can you match our CSP or lodge flap?
Yes. Send us your current CSP or lodge flap and we’ll build your Jamboree set and shirts to coordinate with it.
