Start With the Patch
Pick the theme early and design the patch first. The shirt design usually follows the patch.
Sell With Registration
Add the patch, shirt, and size to the registration form and order to those numbers.
Patches 6–8 Weeks Out
Patch design approvals take the most time. Shirts are quicker and can follow once the patch is approved.
Skip the Extra Boxes
Event shirts sell poorly at the event. Order extras only when the next price break makes them nearly free.

Camporee FAQ
How far ahead should we order camporee patches and shirts?
Start the patch 6–8 weeks before the event. The patch is what takes time, mostly committee reviews of the design. Shirts are quicker, and the shirt design usually follows the approved patch. Most patch orders arrive in 4–5 weeks, including artwork approval; fully custom designs or a sewn sample can add 1–2 weeks, and early summer runs longer. Rush options are available. Tell us your event date and we’ll plan around it.
How many patches and shirts should we order?
Order to your registrations. Patches are usually given to every participant, so order for your expected attendance. Shirts should be pre-sold with registration, because event shirts sell poorly at the event itself.
Is the design really free?
Yes. Councils and districts get full art services at no charge on patches and shirts. Send your theme or a sketch, and you’ll approve an online proof before anything is made.
Can a district order at council pricing?
Yes, when the order is placed on an official council purchase order. Send a copy of the PO with your first order so we can set up the account. More on council pricing.
Can staff get a different shirt?
Yes. Many camporees order the participant shirt plus a staff shirt in a different color, with “STAFF” printed on the back for free. Different styles in the same order count together toward the quantity price.
